More than an Immigration Reform, a Humanitarian Action

It has been more than 3 decades since the last immigration reform happened in 1986. Over 3.2 million illegal immigrants had the opportunity to legalize their immigration status and stay legally in the United States. It seems that we as a country did not learn that much from it because there were not any improvements made to the immigration system. There are currently about 11 million people living illegally in the nation; therefore there are a lot of emotions involved when we talk about a possible immigration reform. It seems to be almost impossible to see all the pros and cons of an immigration reform. It is true that most of these group of people enter illegally to the country and/or have overstayed their visas, but this does not qualify these people to be considered bad people or criminals. Trump Administration: Immigration Policy Change and Its Impact

If one can type Donald Trump in the Google’s search bar, they automatically see the word “immigration” next to it. From the campaigns to the current day, Trump still pushes on the button that immigration law enforcement is the key for America’s success, hence explains the number of changes he has been trying and has achieved ever since in office. However, it puts into question whether his decisions are really on the path of making America great again.  Although a president may not directly propose a bill, any person that lives in America can see that Trump’s propaganda influenced not only new social perceptions but other law enforcement as well.
